Project Description
The goal of the project is to address the unmet need in HIV testing services (HTS) through effective and innovative delivery models to support attainment of the 90-90-90 goals.
The objectives are to: Strengthen HIV testing service (HTS) delivery, at facility-based HTS (First 90); Strengthen community-facility linkages to ensure PLHIV identified through HTS are linked to and retained in HIV care and treatment services (Second 90); and strengthen viral load monitoring to improve patient care and track attainment of viral suppression (Third 90).
The key interventions include provision of targeted community home-based, outreach, moonlight & index partner testing; PITC for STI and TB patients, VCT & index partner testing;Logistical support to Light House Trust (mobile Vans); Linkage strengthening; and Viral Load (VL) monitoring strengthening.
The project is being implemented in four districts; namely Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzimba.
