Project Description
The goal of this project is to prevent new HIV infections and reduce vulnerability among OVC and AGYW in eight high HIV burden districts in Southern Malawi.
The objectives of the activity are to: Enhance capacity of families and communities to support OVC and AGYW; Increase uptake of health, HIV prevention, care and treatment services among OVC and AGYW; Reduce sexual violence and GBV among OVC and AGYW; Enhance child protection systems in Malawi.
The project is implemented in eight high HIV burden districts in Southern Malawi namely Blantyre, Chikwawa, Zomba, Machinga, Mangochi, Phalombe, Mulanje and Thyolo in a consortium approach and MACRO is implementing it in Mangochi district.
