Specific Objectives:

  • To strengthen the provision of targeted quality HIV testing services and other HIV related services at each service delivery point where MACRO HDAs are deployed.
  • To increase the identification of HIV positive clients through increased contact elicitation, facility and home testing.
  • Ensure at least 99% of newly identified people living with HIV (PLHIV) are rapidly initiated on ART and through provision of comprehensive, integrated, family and person-centered HIV/AIDS and TB care and treatment services and retained on treatment.
  • Ensure that at least 95% of HIV patients retained on treatment access VL testing and achieve viral suppression.
  • To support elimination of mother to child transmission of HIV by strengthening HIV testing in antenatal clinics, early infant detection and documentation of results.
  • To strengthen systems for program monitoring, reporting including HIV test kits quality assurance and supply chain management in all supported districts.

Scope of Work

This program aims at using person-centered approach by integrating service delivery models and strategies that promote efficiencies, quality HIV testing, preventive, care and treatment services.

  • Teen clubs
  • MAAC
  • HVL clinics
  • Family models
  • CAD
  • MIP
