Project Goal:
To implement comprehensive and person-centered HIV prevention services for Key and Priority populations and strengthen monitoring and reporting systems on HIV testing services and other health related services.
Project Objectives:
- Provide comprehensive HIV prevention services to key and priority populations
- Strengthen monitoring and reporting systems for HIV testing services
- Increase access to community-based HIV testing and treatment
- Implement peer education and risk reduction strategies
Scope of Work
The project provides comprehensive package of care to clients which includes:
- Peer education and risk assessment
- HIV testing and promotion of partner testing through safe and ethical index testing
- Condom and lubricant distribution and promotion of use
- Screening of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI), Tuberculosis, Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and Cervical cancer with referral for further management
The project through Peer Educators Microplanning Strategy tracks clients along the HIV cascade. Project staff implements HIV testing mixed modalities including:
- Social Network Strategy
- Active Index Testing
- Hotspot HIV testing
